Michael Garcia

Michael Garcia serves as Associate for Clearview Hotel Capital. Mr. Garcia joined Clearview in September 2020 and works in various roles supporting acquisitions, asset management, and capital initiatives. Prior to joining Clearview, he interned at Hodges Ward Elliott as a member of their hospitality investment sales team. Mr. Garcia holds a B.S. in Hotel Administration, magna cum laude, from Cornell University.

Heather Popp

Heather serves as Clearview Hotel Capital’s VP, Commercial Strategies and oversees Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing and Digital Strategies.
With 18 years within the hospitality industry, Heather has held various positions within operations, revenue, sales, and event management. Starting her career at Marriott International, Heather also spent a decade with Davidson Hospitality as well as time with Noble House Hotels & Resorts overseeing a variety of branded and independent hotels & resorts throughout the country. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Heather and her family now call Arizona home.

Analyst

Kyle Petrucci

Kyle Petrucci serves as an Analyst for Clearview Hotel Capital. Mr. Petrucci joined Clearview in December 2023 and works in various roles supporting acquisitions, capital initiatives, and asset management. Prior to joining Clearview, he interned with Graystoke Investments, a short-term rental group based in Utah. Mr. Petrucci holds a B.S. in Science Technology and Society, from Stanford University and a MRED (Master of Real Estate Development) from the University of Utah.

CORPORATE REVENUE MANAGER

Joel Lillegraven

Joel Lillegraven is Clearview Hotel Capital’s Corporate Revenue Manager. He works directly with all Dolphin Hotel Management properties to develop regionally-specific strategies to increase market penetration and revenue enhancement. Mr. Lillegraven also works directly with Dolphin general managers and sales directors to help them refine local strategies in room inventory and pricing, demand generation, and enhanced market understanding.
Mr. Lillegraven has been in the hospitality industry nearly 30 years, with more than 20 years dedicated to the discipline of revenue management. Prior to joining Clearview, he worked as an area director of revenue management with Evolution Hospitality, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and Sunstone Hotel Properties.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mark Becker

Mark Becker is Clearview Hotel Capital’s Chief Operating Officer where his primary focus is working directly with hotel property teams to assist in maximizing revenue and profitability.  Prior to joining Clearview, Mark worked with Hyatt Hotels for 28 years and served as General Manager in various properties.  Additionally, Mark was an Area Vice President where he oversaw a cluster of hotels in the Grand, Regency, Andaz and Centric brands and worked as a liaison between the brand and ownership groups.  Mr. Becker received his B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Boston University.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Irene Chen

Irene Chen serves as Chief Financial Officer for Clearview Hotel Capital. Ms. Chen joined Clearview in July 2010 and has since participated in the closing of over $1.5 billion in hotel investments. Ms. Chen is in charge of accounting and financial reporting, debt financing, investor relations, risk management, and assists in acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. Ms. Chen received a B.S. from Cornell University at the School of Hotel Administration along with a Minor in Real Estate. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and a graduate of Taipei American School, Ms. Chen is fluent in Mandarin.

PRESIDENT

David Jubitz

David Jubitz serves as President for Clearview Hotel Capital. Mr. Jubitz joined Clearview in June 2007 and has since participated in the closing of over $2 billion in hotel transactions. Mr. Jubitz is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing acquisitions, as well as asset dispositions and capital initiatives. Prior to joining Clearview, Mr. Jubitz spent three years as an appraiser with Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality and Gaming Group. During his tenure as an appraiser, Mr. Jubitz completed over $30 billion in valuations for over 150 hotel and casino properties.

Mr. Jubitz received a B.S. from Cornell University at the School of Hotel Administration and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Cornell Center for Real Estate Finance. Mr. Jubitz lives in Newport Beach, California with his wife and three children.

FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Jon Kline

Jon Kline is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clearview Hotel Capital, LLC. Previously, Mr. Kline was President and Chief Financial Officer of Sunstone Hotels (NYSE: SHO). Prior to joining Sunstone in 2003, Mr. Kline directed the U.S. hospitality and leisure investment banking practice at Merrill Lynch, with responsibility for lodging, gaming, restaurants and other leisure industries. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Kline was a real estate investment banker at Smith Barney, focused on lodging and other real estate asset classes and an attorney with Sullivan and Cromwell in New York.

Mr. Kline is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Conflicts Committee of KBS Growth & Income REIT  and also a member of the Marriott Owner Advisory Council. Mr. Kline was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Orange County Chapter; the United Way, Orange County; and Heritage Pointe. Mr. Kline was named the Orange County CFO of the Year (2005) and the American Jewish Committee Humanitarian of the Year for Orange County (2007). Mr. Kline holds a B.A. in Economics from Emory University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Mr. Kline lives in Newport Beach, California.
